Dr. Patricia Riba

Dr. Patricia Riba is a board-certified pediatrician and recent fellow in primary care psychiatry. Her team has demonstrated statistically significant outcomes in nutrition-related issues like obesity for over 20 years. Her and her team focus on equipping families with healthy habits that promote good psychology about food, mindfulness, sleep routines, strategies for curbing screen time, fostering regular physical activity, practicing healthy coping skills, and enjoying family meals. Dr. Patricia and her team provide direct patient care and educational programs, targeting low-income schools in Southern California.
Dr. Riba is a pediatrician who studied Biology and Sociology at the University of Southern California, received a Medical degree and Master's degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in General Pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Orange County and a Fellowship in the Pediatric tract of Psychiatry for Primary Care Physicians. She is currently a fellow in Substance Use Disorders for Primary Care Physicians at University of California, Irvine.
She is the CEO of Dr. Patricia’s Health Club, Founder of the non-profit organziation Serving Kids Hope (www.ServingKidsHope.org), creator of Being Healthy from A to Z (www.DrPHC.org), and producer of the new video series “KookaMakaLuka.” She is also the co-author of Fit Kids Revolution: Parents Diet-free Guide to Raising Fit Kids.
