At Encompass Housing, our mission is fueled by the incredible dedication and passion of our team. We recently gathered for an inspiring internal awards ceremony to celebrate each other’s accomplishments! Three awards—Rookie of the Year, Team Player Award, and Core Values Award—highlighted team members who have gone above and beyond to advance our mission of providing housing and hope to those experiencing homelessness.

Brandi & The Romero Family
Rookie of the Year: Brandi
Brandi made a bold career shift from her role as a paralegal, driven by her long-standing desire to pursue a more impactful path. In less than a year, she has successfully housed 24 clients, demonstrating her dedication and skill. She is relentless in her efforts to collaborate with landlords and tirelessly advocates for her clients’ needs. Brandi's positive attitude, unwavering commitment to Encompass’ mission, and genuine care for her clients set her apart.
Team Player Award: Michael
Michael has been an integral part of Encompass since its inception, embodying the true spirit of teamwork. He consistently goes above and beyond to support his colleagues, whether it's guiding new staff to helpful resources, stepping in during critical moments, adapting to changing needs, or even assisting with tasks like tidying up the office. Michael's reliability, flexibility, and unwavering willingness to help make him the epitome of a team player, and the entire team knows they can always count on him.

Gilbert is the embodiment of Encompass’ core values. With unwavering integrity and a deep understanding that it takes a collaborative effort to support our clients, he consistently leads by example. Gilbert is a steadfast source of support for the team, offering creative solutions and fostering an environment of care and dedication. His hard work and commitment shine through in everything he does, demonstrating his genuine passion for both the team and the clients we serve.

While these three individuals deserve special recognition, this ceremony was also a celebration for the entire team. Each team member plays a vital role in creating pathways to stability and dignity for our clients. Their hard work and compassion drive the success of our programs and strengthen our community.
